Ingredients:
- 946 ml whole milk
- 175 g granulated sugar
- 10 ml vanilla extract
- 473 ml heavy cream
- 55 g ground coffee
Cooking method:
- Combine all the ingredients except the coffee in a medium sized saucepan and bring to a simmer until the sugar dissolves.
- Place the coffee into cheesecloth and make a sachet using butcher twine.
- Place the coffee sachet into the hot liquid and let seep for 45 minutes. Before discarding the sachet, press out the sachet to get all the liquid/flavor possible into the saucepan.
- Pour the mixture into the Waring commercial ice cream machine and run the program.
- Remove from basket and freeze until firm and/or ready to use.
