September brings National Pizza Day. Regardless of your favorite toppings, here are three products to assist in getting the perfect slice of pizza.

The Waring medium duty Pizza oven is the perfect countertop appliance for small operations that want to expand their menu without breaking the bank or having to renovate a space. This 120V appliance is only 23 inches wide and 18 inches deep and has a temperature range of 280 – 600 degrees Fahrenheit. This unit is designed to accommodate a 14-inch diameter pizza, but can be used for reheating items out of a display
case or other baking items–thanks to the manual fifteen-minute timer. It has everything you need to start cooking right out of the box– a removable ceramic pizza stone for getting that perfect crust and a durable grill brush for sweeping away crumbs between pizzas.

There are not many additional tools needed for making pizza, but one of the most important is a Pizza Peel. My choice is an American Metalcraft 14-gauge aluminum peel with a wooden handle. I found that the ten-inch handle complements the Waring Pizza oven perfectly, preventing burns by getting too close to the hot oven. The wooden handle offers a smooth and comfortable grip while there is no fear about cracking or splitting with the aluminum contact surface.

Once that pizza comes out, there is only one last step– using a Dexter Russell Pizza cutter to make those perfect slices. I like the four inch diameter blade on a textured, slip-resistant black polypropylene handle. The stain-free, high-carbon steel blade is replaceable, to ensure effortless and neat cuts every time.
